Terms of Service

Welcome to Crumb. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Crumb, operated by Cyrasync LTD ("Crumb", "we", "us", "our"). By using Crumb, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Crumb is

Crumb is an AI-powered recipe organisation platform that allows users to:

• Save and organise recipes
• Import recipes from websites, videos, and other supported sources
• Create personal cooking notes and memories
• Build and share family cookbooks
• Use AI-powered recipe extraction and organisation tools

Important:

• Crumb is not a nutritional, dietary, or medical service
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of recipe information
• We do not verify cooking instructions, ingredients, allergens, or nutritional content
• You are responsible for reviewing recipes before preparing food

2. Eligibility

To use Crumb, you must:

• Be at least 16 years old
• Provide accurate account information
• Use the platform only for lawful purposes

3. Your account

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity performed under your account
• Maintaining accurate account information

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Crumb, including recipes, notes, photos, memories, personal comments, and family cookbook content.

By using Crumb, you grant us a limited right to store your content, process your content to provide the service, generate recipe formats and AI-powered outputs, and secure and back up your data. We do not claim ownership of your content.

5. AI recipe extraction

Crumb allows you to import recipes from supported sources such as websites, blogs, YouTube videos, social media content, images, and manual text input.

Important limitations:

• AI-generated extractions may contain errors
• Ingredients, quantities, timings, and instructions may be incomplete or inaccurate
• Users should review recipes before use
• Crumb is not responsible for cooking outcomes, dietary issues, allergies, or food safety incidents resulting from extracted content

6. Family plans & sharing

Family plans allow multiple users to collaborate within a shared cookbook. Account owners are responsible for inviting family members, managing access permissions, and removing users when appropriate.

• Anyone granted access may view shared cookbook content
• Crumb is not responsible for how invited users use or share information
• Family members may contribute content to shared cookbooks

Additional family members may be purchased separately where offered.

7. Subscriptions & billing

Crumb offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

8. Plan changes, upgrades & downgrades

Upgrades: If you upgrade your subscription, additional features may become available immediately. Charges may be prorated depending on your billing cycle.

Downgrades: If you downgrade your subscription, your current plan remains active until the end of the paid billing period. Downgrades take effect on your next renewal date. No partial refunds or credits are provided for unused time remaining on your current plan.

9. Refund policy

All purchases are final. Crumb does not provide refunds for subscription purchases, renewals, downgrades, unused subscription periods, or unused AI extraction allowances. We may provide refunds only where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion.

10. AI extraction limits

Subscription plans may include limits such as number of recipes, number of AI extractions, family members, storage capacity, and shared cookbook features. Unused allowances do not roll over between billing periods unless explicitly stated. We may restrict access to certain features when plan limits are reached.

11. Third-party content

Recipes imported into Crumb may originate from third-party creators and websites. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of imported content complies with applicable copyright laws. Crumb does not claim ownership of third-party recipe content, does not guarantee permission to redistribute imported content, and acts solely as a personal organisation platform.

12. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data using modern security practices. However, no service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining account security and should not share your login credentials with others.

13. Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time. When your account is deleted, your recipes and personal content will be permanently removed, shared cookbook access may be removed, and this action cannot be reversed. We may retain limited records where required for legal, billing, or security purposes.

14. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Crumb for illegal purposes
• Upload harmful, malicious, or unlawful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems
• Interfere with the operation of the platform
• Abuse AI extraction features

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crumb is provided "as is". We do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, accuracy of extracted recipes, or availability of third-party content sources. We are not liable for loss of data, cooking outcomes, food allergies or dietary issues, reliance on extracted recipe information, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

16. Changes to the service

We may add, remove, or modify features; adjust subscription plans; change AI extraction allowances; introduce new pricing for future customers; or improve or discontinue portions of the platform. We will aim to communicate significant changes.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If significant changes are made, we will notify users through the app or by email.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus.
